Gog And Magog
Ezekiel 38: 14-23
God
The rebirth of the nation of Israel, was a tremendous fulfillment of prophecies spoken by the Ancient of Days, unto His Covenant people, the children of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. The very people whom God by his servant Moses formed a civil sovereign nation and gleaned her for forty years of wilderness wandering, to weed out the the unbeliever's from the days of Joshua and Caleb's recon mission into Canaan the land deeded to Abraham by El Shaddai, the King of the Universe. Well before Rome and Tiberius renamed it Palestine in 75 A.D. Over the last 60 plus years, events have unfolded in the scope of world politics, policies, and nation building, that continue to shape the landscape for Ezekiel's promise from God. Look at the two major wars Israel has fought against all odds, out numbered, out gunned, yet UNDER Yaweh's Providential care, love and Promise. God cannot lie. He is not a man that He even could. He has always....always, despite the spiritual adulteries of Israel, myself, the church, and you, kept His end of Covenant.
"14 Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog, Thus saith the Lord God; In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it?
15 And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou, and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company, and a mighty army:
16 And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel, as a cloud to cover the land; it shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.
17 Thus saith the Lord God; Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?
18 And it shall come to pass at the same time when Gog shall come against the land of Israel, saith the Lord God, that my fury shall come up in my face.
19 For in my jealousy and in the fire of my wrath have I spoken, Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel;
20 So that the fishes of the sea, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things that creep upon the earth, and all the men that are upon the face of the earth, shall shake at my presence, and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.
21 And I will call for a sword against him throughout all my mountains, saith the Lord God: every man's sword shall be against his brother.
22 And I will plead against him with pestilence and with blood; and I will rain upon him, and upon his bands, and upon the many people that are with him, an overflowing rain, and great hailstones, fire, and brimstone.
23 Thus will I magnify myself, and sanctify myself; and I will be known in the eyes of many nations, and they shall know that I am the Lord."

Now, Christian...do NOT be afraid! Jesus said in John, "14 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know." This battle described above fought in the plain we Western Civilization call "Armageddon" and occurs after the Bride of Christ, His church has been called up to meet Christ in the sky after the dead in Christ rise up to meet Him first (1st Thessalonians 4:16-17) , we are having a wedding feast with the Bride Groom Himself as these events occur, in preparation of our return with the King on the last day of this battle! (Revelation 19:11-14) "11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords.
17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great."
Plain of Armageddon on which the armies of Gog and Magog will be destroyed
Ezekiel 39:1-8
39 "Therefore, thou son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal:
2 And I will turn thee back, and leave but the sixth part of thee, and will cause thee to come up from the north parts, and will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel:
3 And I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand.
4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy bands, and the people that is with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured.
5 Thou shalt fall upon the open field: for I have spoken it, saith the Lord God.
6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and among them that dwell carelessly in the isles: and they shall know that I am the Lord.
7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel.
8 Behold, it is come, and it is done, saith the Lord God; this is the day whereof I have spoken."
This passage puts the end of God and Magog, (the Russian, European, Asian, and Arabic-Muslim alliances against Israel. The Muslim brother hood, the Arab Spring, Palestine bulldozing itself onto the scene for a recognized nation on the world stage, the U.N.'s lack of recognizing Jerusalem as capitol of Israel. Wars and rumors of wars, world famines, natural disasters increasing in numbers of strength and deaths, these things point towards the stage being set for the End of Days.
The rebirth of Israel, the birth of European Union, the increase of Asian power in military, and economical terms, and America's apostasy from Judeo-Christian precepts in governing, economic and military power are setting the stage already for these for these things to occur in the future. NOTICE recent note worthy news events:
"The Jewish state is confronted with a combined Arab military force far larger than the combined armies of North America and Europe, the countries that make up the forces of the NATO alliance. In light of the repeated Arab threats to destroy Israel, Israel cannot safely agree to surrender the military control of the West Bank. If the 80,000-man Palestinian army of the PLO controlled the high mountainous region of the West Bank of Israel in a future war, the combined Arab armies could easily attack across the remaining narrow band of land along the Mediterranean Sea connecting northern and southern Israel. At certain points this vital and strategic strip of coastal land connecting northern and southern Israel is only nine miles wide between the West Bank and the Mediterranean Sea. Israel's military control of the strategic depth of the West Bank is essential, according to all military studies, to absorb and withstand the assault of combined Arab tank and infantry forces. Numerous military studies by the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff have concluded that if Israel ever surrenders military control of the West Bank, the Arab armies would be able to cut Israel in two within a few hours using their overwhelming Arab armored tank forces. If Israel negotiates the surrender of the military control of the West Bank to Arafat and the PLO and allows the creation of a Palestinian state, Israel will not likely survive the coming war with the combined Arab armies. UN Security Resolution 242, the resolution that governs the continuing peace negotiations, guaranteed that Israel would retain "recognized and secure borders." Without the military control of the West Bank, Israel cannot win the next war. In addition, without the control of the West Bank and the Golan Heights in the north, Israel would be forced to use its nuclear weapons almost immediately following a powerful Arab attack.
Five of the ten major arms-importing nations in the world are in the Middle East. Even the poorest of the Third World countries borrow hundreds of millions of dollars annually to buy huge supplies of modern, sophisticated weapons. As soon as the western nations design a new version of a weapon, their arms salesmen sell the obsolete version of that weapon system to a Third World country. As a result of this cycle of arms build-up, there is now one military weapon and the equivalent of four thousand pounds of explosives for every man, woman, and child worldwide." Grant R. Jefferies
Just as World War II set in motion events that established the rebirth of Israel in 1948, remember that Assyria had to come to the Northern Kingdom, Babylon to the nation of Judah, the armies of Alexander the Great from the West conquered the former two, then Alexander fell at age thirty three, then the iron of Rome took over and ruled Judea and crucified Christ, just as God had ordained before the foundation of the world. Exciting times for the true Christian! We are seeing things happen before I eyes that are setting up for that faithful day we return with Christ and He defeats the armies of the world, and He is known as King of kings before the entire world! Even so, Maranatha! Come Lord Jesus, come!
No weapon forged against the shall prosper!
