The name of the detested American Christian clergymen, given by the British Crown and Parliament gave who preached biblical aspects to the dual citizenship we Christian Americans hold. It was theses biblical precepts preached from the pulpit in the decades before the American Revolution.
"Firstly I commit my Soul into the hands of God, its great and benevolent author." Josiah Bartlett, signer of the Declaration of Independence.
"The right to freedom being the gift of God Almighty, it is not in the power of man to alienate this gift and voluntarily become a slave... These may be best understood by reading and carefully studying the institutes of the great Law Giver and Head of the Christian Church, which are to be found clearly written and promulgated in the New Testament." Samuel Adams the Father of the American Revolution
"All eyes are opened, or opening, to the rights of man. The general spread of the light of science has already laid open to every view the palpable truth, that the mass of mankind has not been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride legitimately, by the grace of God."
Thomas Jefferson's letter to Roger C. Weightman, June 24, 1826
"And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with his wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice cannot sleep for ever."
Thomas Jefferson's Notes on the State of Virginia, Query 18, 1781
"By removing the Bible from schools we would be wasting so much time and money in punishing criminals and so little pains to prevent crime. Take the Bible out of our schools and there would be an explosion in crime."
Benjamin Rush
The Truth preached from the pulpit, to the receptive heart, mind, and soul, makes one free. It changes the heart, the mind, the reasoning, the action of the citizen. One need not look any more than at the few quotes listed above, to see these men sat under preachers of the Black Robed Regiment. These Founders were already students of Locke, the classics, and most importantly the Word of God. They knew and saw oppression for what it was. Were they perfect? For heaven's sake no! But they knew God was the source of freedom, liberty, and hope of mankind, especially the American colonies now declared states of a nation, independent of the crown of Great Britain.
Hebrews 4:12 "For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
Is America in moral decline? [rhetorical] Yes, one can easily look around and see the downward spiral of morality, and in tangent with that, the more oppressed "We The People" become. The more corrupt the citizenry, the more corrupt the leadership. It is NO COINCIDENCE that these scandals are in full speed amongst this Republic. For every law created a breath of liberty is squeezed out of the lungs. What can be done? Simply preach the Word of God, live the Word of God, bow our hearts, heads, mind, and knees to the Almighty through Whom all blessings flow and pray for an awakening. Our land's history has see great ones already when this has happened. Look at this simple precept of the Word of God, that will change how we work, vote, interact with society, and bring glory to God.
"119 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
4 Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
5 O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
7 I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
8 I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word." Psalm 119:1-9

Christian share the Truth, Share Christ, pray for peace in Jerusalem, and pray for our Republic. Love in Christ Jason.
