Ephesians breakdown

Jason Bryant

9/28/2013

The Salvation experience as given in Ephesians 2:1-10

I am the one who God hath made alive, made alive because I once was lost, dead, and wandering in my first Adam condition. Adam and Eve passed down through their descendants (me) the inherent enmity against my Creator, the One Whom created our first parents perfectly, with the ability of free choice, wills, and desires. Before God quickened me in Christ, (made alive because of His death, resurrection, atonement on my behalf) I walked in this dead state according to my own flesh, and the enemy’s desire, schemes, and prideful intent against the perfect and Living Holy God. By inherent nature, in times past, of my former fallen state and condition, I lived it up perfectly to Satan’s design. BUT God, Who is rich in His mercy and His great love toward me, even in my sin, quickened me with Christ, and raised me to life. The same life forfeited in the Garden of Eden. Nothing of my own, but it is the gift of God, marvelous grace that has done this for me, and position wise seated with Christ in heavenly places to come, giving me hope for that which is to come. I cannot boast for this is God’s gift, of his piece of clay that He hath already designed to mold me into, for good works that He has ordained for me to walk in.

The Ministry Gifts Christ gave His church Ephesians 4:11-13:

The beginning of verse 11 sets the tone. Some He gave, which means gift, just like grace is a gift, because of grace, and His glorious purpose of His Saint, and the church which the Saints compose and He is head of, He gives gifts which are designed to fulfill the two fold purpose: To worship the Christ, and to carry out the Great Commission. The gifts serve His purpose plan and will in this manner. Some, and some is the absolute word chosen, He gave Apostles, those who were chosen, sent out, with Christ’s message. The Gospel message spread throughout the known world in the first century church, by way of the Apostles! Some He gave prophets, to foretell that which is, and that which is to come. Paul, Peter, John, and parts of James illustrate this being fulfilled. Some He gave evangelist to preach the need for the Christ, the cross, and the resurrection, thereby the lost can hear and receive, or reject the Truth, Jesus the Good News the Gospel. Those who hear, have the seed planted by the evangelist. Then we have the gifts that are for the edification, perfection and maturing of the Saints. Pastors and teachers which are more common and easier to relate to in today’s Christendom. Pastors and teachers help us see deeper, walk accordingly, and serve like Christ. They lead us in the ways of the “ecclesia” and the Walk of the Way. Until we come closer and closer to reaching the mark that Christ desires, be Christ like in our innermost thoughts, desires, attitudes, thoughts, desires, and ACTIONS.

The comparison of wives and husbands to the church and her Christ.

Wives submit yourselves unto your husbands, Christian submit yourself unto Christ. That is the key theme of the comparison apart from copying and pasting the actual passage. Christ being the head of the church, His bride so is the husband in parallel in relation to his bride, who in turn herself, is the parallel to the church. Note: This relationship is intimate in ways other human relationships could never understand or mimic. This is one of the verses that illustrate “why” marriage is a man-woman relationship since the Garden of Eden as God designed it! A husband is ordered to love himself, just as Christ loves him. This gives heart and meaning to the relationship he is to have with and in his wife, just as Christ loved Himself since He and God are One, and the husband lay down his desires, motives, and wants in submission to the betterment of his wife, just as Christ loved, submitted Himself to the cross, because of His perfect love for His church. By doing so, he mimics what Christ does in His relationship with the church, offering her up without spot and blemish! No man (Christian hates his own body, rather he provides and protects it...) as does Christ for His church. Since the husband and wife are no longer two but one. This is the fulfillment of the mystery of Christ towards His church.

The Christian's Armour:

We fight not against flesh and blood, rather than being carnal, our battle is spiritual, against power, principalities, rulers of darkness in this fallen world. With this being Truth and established, we need weapons to engage in this battle. Our Lord has NOT left us unprepared, the same Lord who calls us, equips us, has not forsaken or abandoned us. He has given us the equipment for victory. First, we are to “gird” ourselves in the Truth of the Lord Jesus Himself! Having put on (Put on) being necessity, we are lead in the next verse to don the “Breast plate” of Christ righteousness to protect our hearts and wills from the schemes of Satan. Having the Great Commission, our next item to put on are the sandals shod with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To protect us as we carry out His mission. Above all the shield of faith that covers the entire body, faith which apart from a victorious life, and without it is impossible for salvation or please God with. This shield protects us from the fiery attacks of Satan. Lastly we place th helmet of salvation which gaurds or minds from the onslaught of self and Satan. Always praying all prayer. In the spirit to all Saints, for this is unto the lord

What Is The Definition of Our Love For God?

What Is The Definition of Our Love For God?

So much of scripture, is loaded with actions, words, and Divine deeds of God's Love for us Believers, and for the lost.  Romans eight, the last chapter is full of God's love and how He and His love can NEVR be separated from those of us In Christ, who walk not according to the flesh, and are covered in His blood.  Because of His love (application and result) we are spared from condemnation to hell.  Look at these few verses for examples of His Agape to usward who are in Christ:
"8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
20 For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,
21 Because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now.
23 And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?
25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.
31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.
34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."  (Romans 8:1-39 KJV)

This entire passage is tied together.  God shows His love, how we can't be separated from it, and the marks and characteristics of those of us who have in the regenerative sense received that love.  There is so much more God ties to the "No more condemnation" to receive the love security that carries on past the first verse.  So many Christians stop after the comma after Christ Jesus, in verse one and build a zero accountability under grace life upon. The next 38 verses show verse one is only the introduction to that verse.  Now let us consider the verse of the demonstration and purpose of that AGAPE that saves from Hell, and sanctifies us into a Christ honoring life of sanctification.

"16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
22 After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judaea; and there he tarried with them, and baptized.
23 And John also was baptizing in Aenon near to Salim, because there was much water there: and they came, and were baptized.
24 For John was not yet cast into prison.
25 Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.
26 And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.
27 John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.
28 Ye yourselves bear me witness, that I said, I am not the Christ, but that I am sent before him.
29 He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.
30 He must increase, but I must decrease.
31 He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.
32 And what he hath seen and heard, that he testifieth; and no man receiveth his testimony.
33 He that hath received his testimony hath set to his seal that God is true.
34 For he whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him.
35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."  (John 3:16-36 KJV)
Here after fifteen verses God uses the "Love" word.  The first fifteen verses He speaks to Nicodemus on his spiritual condition, his need for grace, and the manner of how salvation is going to happen, then He gives the how of redemption to Nicodemus.  There was a missionary work of applying the gospel to salvation to a person who knew the Word, yet needed Jesus to show him the Way!

Now let us look at the measuring stick, the gauge, the fruit of a Saint that truly loves Jesus.  Yea this spoke aloud to me!
"3 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.
15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us."  By the power of Christ, the Holy Spirit, and the actions which demonstrated that love that saves us!   Look at the continuation of that passage with the definition and application of our response to His love for us:

"4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.
13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.
14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
16 And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.
17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
19 We love him, because he first loved us.
20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also." (1 John 4:1-21 KJV)
Can I honestly say I love God?  Tough I will and may sin in this earthly flesh, It is not a willful practice of disobedience, nor a presumptuous justification of sin because of grace.  Do you love God?  Do I?  Love in Christ Jason!

Really Christian, Do You Desire Your Best Flesh Life Now?

Really Christian, Do You Desire Your Best Flesh Life Now?

Muse this over and don't be amused by fallible human intellectual pride!

The Prideful lure of being anchored down by the world system.

   "8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve."  (Matthew 4:8-10 KJV)

In this passage God in flesh, Who successfully fended off Satan with the Word of God, and set precedent as the Saviour of the world, the proper position of the world in regards to the Kingdom of heaven and its Lord, the Creator.  To be desiring the things of the world, the here in now is moot after Jesus set the precedent of the fallen temporal World in relation to the Believers who are in this world as pilgrims and not to be allured into its system.

"4 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?
Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.
Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.

Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?"  (James 4:1-5 KJV) Friendship with the here and now world system makes one any enemy of Christ, and at enmity with Christ's purpose.  Jesus in His ministry, demonstrated the application of His not being enslaved to the world system, pride, and ruler of this temporal fallen world.  He owned no property except His precious garment that would be stripped from Him and gambled over by godless Gentile heathen invaders.  Recall these passages of Jesus that stand out and all alone in the self absorbed, Burger King  (have it my way now...) Drive through Society, and have it now me first emotional flesh driven mentality that is all about earthly ego-prideful stance against Christ and His teachings:

58 And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.  (Luke 9:58 KJV)

"19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.
23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!
24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?"  (Matthew 6:19-25 KJV)   These passages are in opposition and enmity against Christ's teachings and doctrines. Look at the image of world systems fulfilled and fallen that though their world systems of evil and corruption that implode seeking now the best of human deceitful designs and desires.  Not unlike the covenant nation of Israel that placed their pursuit in the economy, alliances of their own here and NOW prestige attitude, in place of God's way and design.  Note, Israel and Judah fell to these nations that conquered and themselves fell of their own earthly prideful here and now desires.

Now the ultimate teaching proving a presumptuous position of grace, and self misuse of God's eternal promises to twist a doctrine into "God wants me temporal blessed NOW" instead of eternally perfected in the image of Christ.  Remember Beloved, a  man who is rich, will more times than naught trust his bank account, self assurance and worldly ways to hinder His entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven.  The rich man is warned of the extreme difficulty of his entrance into life with Jesus.  For it is easier for him to enter through the eye of a needle as a camel!

A Story Of A Best Life Now

Not a parable, an actual story with names of a man who had his "Best Life Now."

Remember this certain RICH MAN had his best life NOW!

19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. (Luke 16:19-31 KJV)

The certain man received his best life NOW.  The story of what Jesus taught about being heavenly minded.  Those who presumptuously take the doctrine of grace and apply it to temporal life and possessions are missing the teaching of Jesus, the life of Jesus, and worst the spiritual truth of spiritual life abundant life.
I leave you with a Pauline doctrinal statement against your best life now:

"16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."  (2 Corinthians 4:16-18 KJV)
Honestly friends, do you really want "Your Best Life Now?"  Use discernment with these new enlightened television speakers.  Going by Luke 16, by Christ's words, I sure as heck don't want my best life now!!!  Love in Christ, Jason

Textus Receptus- The Preserved Word Sermon by Brother Greg Wilson

The Heresies of the Modern "Conservative" Translations of the Bible

By Pastor Greg Wilson
Many sincere Christians are being led to believe that the modern translations of Scripture are but updates of the King James Bible. Most do not realize that these modern versions are translations of entirely different Greek texts. Nothing could be more deceptive than to present them as updates of the Authorized Version (KJV).
The texts used in the modern translations came via the Catholic Church and from ancient Egyptian theologians. These Alexandrian (Egyptian) "Christians" rejected the literal interpretation of the Scripture from the earliest centuries of Christianity. As will be seen, these texts differ markedly from those used in the translation of the King James Bible. They show definite marks of corruption and a consistently inferior theology, particularly in the area of the deity of Jesus Christ.
It is both illogical and dishonest to present all these various and contradictory texts as the true Word of God. If the King James Bible and the texts from which it was translated are the preserved and genuine Word of God, then the others most assuredly are not. God is not schizophrenic. He has not left us several different Bibles. He has not given us contradictory messages.
Within this tract I can give but a brief overview of the most glaring theological heresies supported by the modern versions of the Bible. I will consider only those versions most often used by those who claim to be conservative Christians. There are literally thousands of places where they differ with God's Word as found in the Textus Receptus and Authorized (King James) Version of Scripture. I believe, however, that the brief evidence presented here is enough to convince the sincere truth seeker that something is amiss.
In every case, the discrepancies noted are also present in the more liberal translations, such as The Revised Standard Version, The New Revised Standard Version, The Jerusalem Bible, Today's English Version, etc.
If you use one of these modern versions, I pray that you will take the time to compare its text with the text of The Authorized Version presented here. You may be surprised with what you find.

1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
This verse clearly sets forth the Biblical doctrine of the Trinity, as it is found above in the Authorized Version of Scripture.
Most modern translations so mutilate this verse that there is no longer any reference to the Trinity to be found within it at all.
The New American Standard Version (NASV), The New International Version (NIV), and The Living Bible (LB) all remove any reference to either the Father, or the Word (Jesus Christ) from this verse.
The New King James Version (NKJV), maintains the reference to the Trinity in the text. However, it contains a footnote that sets forth only a biased part of the textual evidence concerning the verse and leaves a very strong impression that these words do not belong in the Bible.

Acts 8:37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
Philip's reply to the eunuch, in this verse, is a clear example of the Biblical doctrine of Believer's Baptism.
The NIV completely removes this verse from the text skipping from verse 36 to verse 38. There is no verse 37 in the NIV text at all!
The NASV puts the entire verse in brackets indicating that these are "words probably not in the original writings" (Preface to NASV, p. xi)
The LB footnotes the verse and states: "Many ancient manuscripts omit verse 37 wholly or in part."
The NKJV likewise footnotes the verse and questions its place in the original text.

1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
This verse clearly sets forth the truth of the incarnation, namely that GOD was manifested in the flesh by Jesus Christ.
The NIV and NASV both substitute he for God, greatly weakening the teaching of the verse.
The LB so paraphrases the verse that it is hardly recognizable, and weakens the teaching concerning the incarnation even more than the NIV and NASV.
The NKJV as usual footnotes the verse and notes that who rather than God is to be found in the modern printed Greek New Testaments.

Matthew 9:13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
This verse teaches that Christ came to call sinners to repentance.
The NASV and NIV omit the reference to repentance.
The LB's paraphrase does not use the word repentance, and completely subverts the verse's meaning.
The NKJV once again footnotes this verse, questioning whether repentance is properly in the text.

Luke 2:33 And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.
The Authorized Version refers to Joseph and his mother, carefully acknowledging the virgin birth of Christ. Within the KJV and the Greek texts from which it comes, Christ is never referred to as the son of Joseph, nor is Joseph called His father, except when he is so called by other men. The Biblical narrative itself never refers to Him as such.
The NIV substitutes the child's father for Joseph. The NASV substitutes His father.
The LB further muddles the issue by leaving Joseph in the text, but substituting Mary for his mother even though there is absolutely no Greek manuscript that does so.
The NKJV leaves the text as in the KJV, but once again tells us in the footnotes that the modern Greek New Testaments substitute His father for Joseph.

John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.
This passage teaches clearly that belief in Jesus Christ alone will bring eternal life. The modern versions make room for the idea that "it really doesn't matter what you believe, as long as you are sincere."
On me is omitted from the NASV and NIV.
The NKJV once again casts doubt on the place of on me in the text within its footnotes.

John 7:53-8:11 (Please refer to you own Bible)
This passage relates the story of the woman taken in adultery.
All 12 verses are bracketed in the NASV indicating that the editors did not believe that it was in the original text.
The NIV sets the verses off from the regular text and notes that "The earliest and most reliable manuscripts do not have John 7:53-8:11."
The footnotes in the LB states that "Most ancient manuscripts omit John 7:53-8:11"
The NKJV notes that these verses "are bracketed in the NU-Text [the modern Greek New Testaments] as not original."

Mark 16:9-20 (Please refer to you own Bible)
These verses contain the resurrection narrative, the Great Commission, and the promises of Christ to His disciples concerning His protection of them.
The NASV brackets the entire passage indicating that the editors did not consider it to be in the original writing.
The NIV separates these verses from the regular text and notes: "The two most reliable early manuscripts do not have Mark 16:9-20."
The LB notes: "Verses 9 through 20 are not found in the most ancient manuscripts, but may be considered an appendix giving additional facts."
The NKJV notes: "Verses 9-20 are bracketed in NU-text as not original."

1 Peter 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
This passage sets forth the doctrine of the substitutionary death of Christ. In that Christ did not simply die, but that He died for us.
The NASV, NIV, and LB all omit for us from the text.
The NKJV once again questions the place of for us within the text in its footnote.

2 Peter 2:17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
This passage teaches the doctrine of the eternal damnation of the lost by the words for ever.
Forever is omitted in the NASV and NIV.
The NKJV questions the place of forever in the text within its footnote.

1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
This passage demonstrates that belief in the incarnation is essential to genuine Christianity by the words: "That Jesus Christ is come in the flesh."
"Come in the flesh" is omitted from the NASV, NIV, and LB. This leaves room for the Gnositic heresy that Christ was not genuine flesh and blood.
The NKJV questions the place of "come in the flesh" within the text by its footnote.

Revelation 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
That Jesus Christ is the eternal God is taught by the words: "I am the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last."
The NASV and NIV omit these words.
The NKJV raises doubts concerning its originality in its footnote.

SOME CLOSING THOUGHTS:
1 - References in the footnotes of these modern Bibles to "the best manuscripts, the most ancient manuscripts, the most reliable manuscripts, etc." all refer to the stream of Bible texts that proceeded out of Alexandria, Egypt through the Catholic Church. These texts are manifestly corrupted by Bible deniers and infidels. They are not the texts which Bible believers possessed and which they refused to surrender through years of governmental and clerical persecution.
2 - These modern Bibles and the modern Greek New Testaments from which they originate ignore much of the evidence concerning the true text of the Bible. In particular, they give little heed to the evidence of the writings of the earliest Christians, which indicates that they had Bibles which support the text of the King James Bible.
3 - It is true that the NKJV was translated from the Textus Receptus (the same Greek Text from which the KJV was translated). It is also true that most of the men who worked on the translation of this modern Bible did not believe that this was the best text. I personally knew some of the men on the translation committee. I sat in their classes and I know that they favored the Catholic, Egyptian texts. This is clearly shown by their profuse use of footnotes to question the place of the traditional readings within the text.
4 - Those who seek to justify the modern versions of the Bible often state that there is no major doctrine effected by the variances amongst the different Greek manuscripts. This brief article has clearly shown that this is simply not the case and that these modern "scholars" are not to be trusted!
5 - If you use one of the modern translations I pray that God may use this brief study to lead you to His true and preserved Word as found in the Greek Textus Receptus and English King James Bible.

Is It Possible To Love Someone To Hell?

Is It Possible To Love Someone To Hell?

"7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.
For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
10 I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings."  (Jeremiah 17:7-10 KJV)
"But brother Jason that's an Old Testament passage!,"   Many will scream.  Well HOLD your horses for a moment and read aloud the following passage, in which are the red letter Words of the Christ Himself:

"15 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
10 And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
11 Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
15 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.
16 And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?
17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man."
The Lord Jesus used the Word "KARDIA" G2588- "denotes the centre of all physical and spiritual life."
The Lord is showing what God the Father spoke and speaks through the "Weeping Prophet" that our human seat of will, choice, and emotions is flawed, and apart from His Holy Spirit, and Written Word, it WILL AND CAN SPEAK THE WRONG THING!  Hence the power and authority of the Word of God, OVER the words of man.  Human perception of a Western Civilization view of the word love is easily flawed.  We love our spouses, cars, pets, kids, sports, and bank accounts.  All with the same word.  So our perception of love can be so easily flawed and tainted!  Now consider for a moment the Word love Jesus uses in His discourse with Nicodemus on that faithful night the Gospel seed was sown to an elder of the leaders of Jerusalem, and Judea.  Jesus uses "Agapao" G25- Verb to welcome, to entertain, to be fond of, to love dearly in regard to people."  Lost people in the context of this passage and usage.  Well... what is the noun of this verb?  It is "AGAPE" G26-"affection, good will, love, benevolence, brotherly love."  Notice the selfless words in this definition?  Benevolence.  Good will.  Brotherly love.  Affection. "  In our own humanistic love, we love because of return, yet in Agape or God's Love, we are loved by His choice regardless of return!  Herein lies the problem.  If we are afraid and are dishonest about a lost soul's spiritual destination in relating to them, because we "don't want to offend them..."  "I don't want to be called a 'Bible Thumper' or They'll call me a judgmental person..." Friend that is NOT LOVE!  If you truly "agapao" another human being you will be truthful regardless of what your flesh, emotions, self-esteem/pride, or HEART says emotionally.  Look back in John chapter 3 discourse between Jesus and Nicodemus.  How many verses are spoken and written before Jesus EVEN MENTIONS LOVE?

There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews:
The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
10 Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness.
12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?
13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life."  (John 3:1-15 KJV)
Fifteen verses before Jesus gives the "WHY" he is able to be saved.  It is answered in John 3:16.  Jesus spends fifteen verses telling Nicodemus "HOW" and the reality of spiritual condition, and the NEED of SALVATION, and even foretells Nicodemus of the MEANS this would be accomplished, by the CROSS and the Son of God.  That is love.  Consider this in a modern since of application.  "NICODEMUS!!!!! Your house is on fire and you are in DANGER!!!"  Is this the action of love for Nicodemus?  Of course, YES it is!  The opposite would be this... well Nicodemus' house is on fire, but I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, he won't like what the reality is so, I will wait and let someone else tell him.  You know, because I am really more concerned with his self esteem, and his being "happy" and I just love him to much to hurt his feelings with the Truth.  Someone else can tell him.  Is that love?  In many humanistic views people would say yes, I didn't hurt his feelings.  Christian, you've NO SUCH LUXURY!  So let us ask the question once more.  Is it possible to love someone to Hell?  Human wise...yes Beloved it is.  Christ like "agapao" WILL NOT LET YOU REST UNTIL YOU'VE SHARED THE GOSPEL!  So do you love the lost souls living in your sphere of influence?  Or do you agapao the lost God has placed in your path?   Just some food for thought Beloved, Love in Christ, Jason.

Spiritual Discernment And Common Sense

Spiritual Discernment And Common Sense

There is and has always been a movement against that which is GOOD and PERFECT.  In the book of Genesis we are given how it all began, how it was ALL PERFECT and COMPLETE, and the persons involved in how it fell to where we are.  Elohim had created everything perfectly through Jesus as we read in Colossians, BUT WHAT WENT WRONG?  HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?  To say Christ has saved you, you MUST NEEDS believe all that is written, for Jesus is the Word, the Logos, not just the chapter 8 of Romans, not just the John 3:16, not chop and shop verses of scriptures building an HUMANISTIC religion to suit our own conscious or behavior.  To do the before mentioned, is a carbon copy of chapter 3 of Genesis, which placed US in this entire predicament, and the Christ on the cross.  YES!  God is love as American Christendom so often screams and God is HOLY, JUST, FAITHFUL, and TRUE.  "It is oft said, I believe I am saved by grace through faith..." (Ephesians 2:8 KJV) and Jesus said "WHOSOEVER BELEIVETH in HIM shall have eternal life..." (John 3:16 KJV) BUT I DON'T BELIEVE GOD WANTS ME TO BE UNHAPPY, I DON'T BELIEVE GOD WANTS ME TO STAY IN THIS MARRIAGE, I DON'T BELIEVE GOD HATES HOMOSEXUAL BEHAVIOR, I DON'T BELIEVE GOD WANTS ME TO HAVE A MODEST BANK ACCOUNT, I DON'T BELIEVE GOD WANTS ME TO HAVE AN OLDER CAR.  I DON'T BELIEVE GOD... I DON'T BELIEVE GOD... I DON'T BELIEVE GOD.
See the emphasis?  Purposeful in the two specific verses, yet purposeful in the following treatise of "I don't believe God" statements.  Oh you'll believe Him for salvation, prosperity, and whatever suits the earthly desires but reject what He has spoken on His other desires.  HIS DESIRES!  NOT YOURS, BUT HIS... We see this heart, mind, and behavior so perfectly illustrated in the following passage:
  "
Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.
And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God amongst the trees of the garden.
And the Lord God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou?
10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.
11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?
12 And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.
13 And the Lord God said unto the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I did eat.
14 And the Lord God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.
17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;
18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.
20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.
21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.
24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life."  (Genesis 3:1-24 KJV)

See how subtle the enemy operated?  See a parallel for American Christianity?  See the parallels for "BUT I DON'T BELIEVE GOD?"  The problem lies in verse 1 of chapter three of Genesis, and HAS NOT CHANGED ONE IOTA SINCE THE FALL!  "YEA HATH GOD SAID?"  Four words of the enemy's twisting of scripture, for he knows it better than any man, and will use the human flesh and mind, chop and shop of scripture passages to combat you and blaspheme God every opportunity he can get! (Roaring lion concept and truth Peter warned of, and the thief who seeks to kill and destroy just like Jesus said in the Gospels.)  Even Jesus said to His Disciples (people who lived according to ALL His teachings, not just select things of teachings (read John 6, and pay special attention to the 66th verse of that chapter, to see who His true Disciples are.)  In the following passage Jesus tells His Disciples His instructions about going into the Judean country preaching the kingdom of heaven is at hand.  Remember He came to the lost sheep of Israel first, then the Gentiles:

  "
10 And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;
Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;
Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses,
10 Nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.
11 And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, enquire who in it is worthy; and there abide till ye go thence.
12 And when ye come into an house, salute it.
13 And if the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.
14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet.
15 Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
17 But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
18 And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles.
19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak.
20 For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.
21 And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
23 But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
24 The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
25 It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?
26 Fear them not therefore: for there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known.
27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."  (Matthew 10:1-28 KJV)  Jesus gave specific instructions, and told them and by default US to be, "WISE AS SERPENTS yet harmless as doves."
Notice in the following passage Jesus doesn't tell the so called devout believers in God to search only the book of Romans, Pauline doctrine, New Testament, some of the scriptures BUT search the scriptures!  Imperative declarative statement, implied instruction.  Yeah, it's that simple for you spiritualist out there.  If Jesus spoke and speaks it, He meant and means it.  If it IS WRITTEN, it is not to be watered down and rewritten.  How can man rewrite the LOGOS?  LUDICROUS and idiotic to even attempt, or justify that.  That is HUMANISTIC and SATANIC to do so.  Read this excerpt from brother Paul Washer:
"The church by large has missed the point with regard to the cross."
"If you stick Benny Hinn here and me right here and if you can pull both of us apart and if you ask Benny Hinn why he believes all the stuff he does and the facts that he makes millions of dollars and he will only stay in five star hotels and all this different things.  If you ask him why he does what he does that he will tell you:  "Because that is what the Bible teaches."  And if you ask me, I will say: "He is completely wrong!  And if you ask me why, I will say, "Because this is what the Bible teaches."  Now the question is, both of us using the Bible as our authority, so who is right?  You know that is the big question, who is right?  Well there are two things you must look at.  One of them is called context, and the other is called history.

First of all I want you to understand something.  If the Bible says, or if it makes the statement the barn is RED, it means the BARN IS RED!  I'm so tired of speaking on university campuses and hearing students say:
"Oh that's just your interpretation."  And I say: "Well here interpret it grammatically, not according to YOUR spirit, not according to the,  just grammatically.  Like you would in an English class.  What is it saying grammatically?  That's the first one.  The second point is this.  We have over 2,000 years of Christian history.  Ok?  2,000 years of Christian's writing.  Thousands of, no millions of books.
Now if I teach something on the Cross of Christ, and you compare what I teach to 2,000 years of Christian history, then you've got to decide who is right?  Well obviously 2,000 years of preserved Christian history and teachers are right.  Whenever someone teaches you something one of the good things to do is compare what they are saying to 2,000 years of Christian history.  If nobody agrees with them, they are probably wrong, aren't they?  And IF we Americans come up with some new theology, or new method or way of doing Christianity, yet it disagrees with 2,000 years worth of Christians from all over the world, who is probably wrong?  We are!  You see, and that's why I say today, that on the teaching of the Cross, most of the messengers are COMPLETELY MISSING THE POINT!"  Brother Paul Washer

So Beloved of Christ, I ask you this question is the barn red?
Or is this your red barn?

If you truly have Christ in you, and you IN CHRIST, then you already knew the answer to this well before the pictures, Paul Washer's sermon, you heard and saw it in the Truth of the Scriptures.  Love in Christ, Jason.  Share this truth with other Believers, for the LORD would not have us ignorant, nor deceived, we are speaking about the Gospel and Christian living here!
