"Jesus Destroys Legalism And Churchianity"

"Jesus Destroys Legalism And Churchianity"

Following rules and regulations to make us right with God is folly! Jesus in the following verses, gives Truth and heart to the purposes of God:
Luke 14:1 (KJV) "And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.
2 And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy.
3 And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?
 4 And they held their peace. And he took [him], and healed him, and let him go;
5 And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?
6 And they could not answer him again to these things." Who can refute Truth Himself?

"Christian Fear Not God Provides"

"Christian Fear Not God Provides"

I do it. You do it. At times we all worry about the provision we NEED on this earth. After Jesus taught on the foolishness of choosing to value earthly property over Heaven's treasure(s), He scatters our worries! Our lives here are provided for by His hand. If you've time watch the birds even in this frozen ground they swoop down and eat without a worry:
Luke 12:22 (KJV) "And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on.
23 The life is more than meat, and the body [is more] than raiment.
24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?"

Forgive my worries Father for You are Sovereign!

He [Jesus] came unto His own and they received Him not. Promised from Genesis chapter 3, foretold of Moses, prophetically promised by the Prophets, of whom were killed, Jesus came to save His own (Israel and the Gentiles-as promised by God to Abraham), because of agape-non emotional, unconditional love.  This love and sacrifice was and is rejected by Israel and Gentile people alike.  Hear Jesus' words about His heart for His people, yet they rejected Him still:
Luke 13:34 (KJV) "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen [doth gather] her brood under [her] wings, and ye would not!"

"The Beautiful Gift of Repentance"

"The Beautiful Gift of Repentance"

In the below passage, that are the last three verses of Luke 12, Jesus refers to judgement, adversary, and Magistrate. Since we can only repent and "TRUST" on Jesus for salvation, when Yah'veh or God draws us to Jesus by His Holy Spirit,  the final Magistrate in eternity-Jesus is pleading settle with your adversary (God since you're lost) and have to face the Magistrate (Jesus) in eternity; however, if God has saved you, Jesus will not judge you to condemnation! He will be your Mediator or Advocate in eternity!
Luke 12:57 (KJV) "Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?
58 When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, [as thou art] in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.
59 I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite." #Repentance_is_a_Gift

"Commanded To Go And Share The Gospel With Nothing But Faith And A Command"

It seems so unnatural many times to do what God tells us individually to do. These passages are an example. Take nothing with you, stay where the Gospel is accepted, and shake the dust off your feet where it is rejected as for a testimony, to their condemnation, to hell for rejecting the Gospel:
Luke 9:2 (KJV) "And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
3 And he said unto them, Take nothing for [your] journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.
4 And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart.
5 And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where."

"Worry Can Only Destroy Me"

    "Worry Can Only Destroy Me"

My most sincere apologies in absence of writing the last 27 months.  I have been through some medical trials and tribulations.  Three heart attacks (four since 2011) on 10/31/15, 11/08/15, and 9/23/16.  I know have diabetes type two enhancing every imaginable problem.  I have PTSD and anxiety disorder from the Marine Corps and the severe health problems that hit all at once in less than a year.  This past year I suffered an atrial aneurism back in August and discovered to diabetic damaged heart arteries that are damaged.  I have incurred glaucoma, and three eye glass rx changes  in less than a year, and had a hernia surgery on my birthday in November on birthday, was to be out patient; however, my kidneys went in complete renal failure for the third time since 201, I developed congestive heart failure, and pneumonia during the surgery.  I have been writing tons of devotions for the blog, and have decided to start publishing them for our mutual edification.  Sorry for the last 27 months, but I shall attempt to daily publish again!

I can't add one inch to my height by worrying or dwelling on it. I can't make my heart disease or congestive heart failure disappear by worrying about it; however,  I can hasten its end result by worrying and stress. I can, as a Christian pray, be thankful, and ask the concern of any burden I have be carried by Jesus! Only His shoulders are wide enough:
Luke 12:25 KJV "And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
26 If ye then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest?
27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these."

Bless you all and pleas share if the Holy Spirit so leads you.

In Christ, brother Jason
