Day 9 The Miphkad Gate or Muster Gate

Nehemiah 3:31

"31 After him repaired Malchiah the goldsmith's son unto the place of the Nethinims, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphkad, and to the going up of the corner."




Good evening my Beloved family of Christ and soldiers of the Cross of Christ! So far we have made the journey around the literal, geographical, and spiritual perimeter of Old Jerusalem of King David, son of Jesse. As we walked around these gates, these walls, and the the spiritual allegory of the same of our own lives, we have seen the purpose, plans, and God ordained functions of the literal gates of Jerusalem, and the intended gates of our own hearts as children of God through Christ. Whenever God plans, designs, and carries out His purposes, they are specific, orderly, and are never chaotic.

We began with the Sheep Gate to enter with the Good Shepherd for eternal life, and life more abundantly. We proceeded then towards the Fish Gate, which opened towards the Sea of Galilee, where the Good Shepherd began to form His flock, calling His disciples, the future doctrinal teachers, missionaries, and edifiers of the individual churches of the first century, so He could teach them to fish for men. We then progressed onwards to the Old Gate that showed us that the Ancient of Day's paths, also known as the "old paths" that Jeremiah beseeched his fellow countrymen to return to. Paths of righteousness for His Name's sake, for our advantage and safety. We next came unto the Valley Gate, the gate of humility, the gate that teaches us to forsake our own self reliance for the security of the Good Shepherd, who will be our Light in the valley's of life, and even in the valley of death we blossom in His shadow, even in death. Walking on around the walls of Jerusalem, to the next gate, we see the and smell the stench of the Dung Gate. The necessity of the Dung Gate, and the need for the Dung Gate of our own Walk in and with Christ, where He, the Holy Spirit, and our submission as sheep who KNOW our Good Shepherd takes the dung, sin, stench, trash, ungodliness from our lives! The gate of accountability, confession, and sanctification. Oh how great my need for the dung gate, and your need too! Then our next gate... the refreshing and perfectly placed in order gate, for the needs of our Walk of His Way. The Fountain Gate where we are cleansed and refreshed by Living Water, that fills in every area the dung has been raked out. Thank you Jesus for Your Living Water, I now understand, as much as a man can relate, the woman at the well in Samaria, I need water that always flows, I NEED LIVING WATER! After the Fountain Gate, we now came to the gate that never needed repairing! The Water Gate which is the Word of God. The Word of God spoke the World into existence, the Word of God, Whom became flesh and dwelt among us, lived sinless as the Good Shepherd and was sacrificed as the spotless Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world, MINE included! A side note, from Nehemiah 8, and the work and revival of the return of Ezra, the Word of God was read in front of the Water Gate! IT'S ALL PURPOSE ORDAINED BY GOD FOR PURPOSE AND PLAN! The Word of God, the LOGOS-JESUS-WORD leads us to the Horse Gate and the preparing for Battle. The Christian Walk is a battle against powers and principalities, and the battles of our own flesh nature against submission to the Holy Spirit. It is war of Light against the darkness of Satan, sin, and man. Through this gate we don the spiritual armor of God, and use the Sword of the Spirit also known as the WORD [JESUS] of God. Then having fought the good fight, victorious through faith that overcomes, not our faith, but in Whom our faith is in! We came and saw the East Gate, the gate of the King's return, His second advent where He will physically touch the Earth, He will come on a white stallion as warrior King with His redeemed Saints, and His Angelic Host who will watch Him defeat the kings of earth and the fallen prince of thus fallen world by the Word of His mouth. Jesus is coming, and through the East Gate to sit upon the throne of David, excuse me, the King of kings throne.

Now my Beloved we come to the Miphkad Gate, the Gate of muster, that is where the armies gathered for roll call. It will be the meeting place of Christ and His Saints, as He musters His people, His troops, His church triumphant for His plan for the millennial reign on Earth. Where Jesus will assign his Saints their stations and duties that must be carried out in New Jerusalem, where the government will rest upon His shoulder. Maranatha Jesus is coming!
