The Relationships That God Addresses In His Word

 
 
 
 
 
 
     There is a horrendous movement amongst modern Christianity, or those who may be Christian and ignorant to biblical doctrine, or even worse deceived into thinking they are Christian, and the grace of God makes sodomy acceptable in the midst of God's kingdom and economy.  Before we look into what God has said and says on this sin, let us ask ourselves this question.  Where, yes where in the Holy Scriptures of God will you find one passage that says adultery, fornication, or sodomy are acceptable?  Where?  To go even deeper into this issue, where, yes where in the complete counsel of the Word of God, does god give instruction on how to make, dwell, partake in these sinful relationships for blessing or success?  Where?  The short, truthful, and concise answer is no where in the complete Bible is it addressed, with the exception of, "Do not be partakers in these things!" 
  So let us consider the facts as they are.  We are to have NO relationship with sin.  That is a biblical and foundational fact and truth.  The first institution in the Bible, is marriage.  Consider this passage:
 
 
  "18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
19 And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.
21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.
24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed."  (Genesis 2:18-25 KJV)

  Through the first mention in Scripture, we see clearly that God created the two genders, and even stated that man shouldn't be alone.  And His solution was to create for man (MALE) a woman (FEMALE).  Not any other type of relationship Christian.  Male and female, He made them both!  Now let us progress further into Scripture into the second institution ordained of God.  Family, and the means designed to bring it into existence, designed by the Creator Himself! 

   "27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat.
30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so.
31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day."  (Genesis 1:27-31 KJV)

  Here in this passage we see the command to a man and a woman, a MALE and a FEMALE to be fruitful and multiply.  This is the designed way of  the Creator, and the ONLY natural way that humans, animal species, and plant species propagate.  There you have the biblical instructions, which are confirmed by biology on the non invasive schemes of humanity.  Plain and simple, not ambiguous in any fashion whatsoever Beloved.  In Genesis 3, it is clearly noted that man destroyed the vertical relationship between Yahweh and humanity because he rebelled against that which Yahweh designed and defined. 

  Now let us look at a passage upon which God explains what type of human associations disgust him, because of its fallen nature and damage it heaps upon humanity and the individual soul.  Consider these passages straight from the mouth of Yahweh:


 
  "10 And the man that committeth adultery with another man's wife, even he that committeth adultery with his neighbour's wife, the adulterer and the adulteress shall surely be put to death.
11 And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
12 And if a man lie with his daughter in law, both of them shall surely be put to death: they have wrought confusion; their blood shall be upon them.
13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
14 And if a man take a wife and her mother, it is wickedness: they shall be burnt with fire, both he and they; that there be no wickedness among you.
15 And if a man lie with a beast, he shall surely be put to death: and ye shall slay the beast.
16 And if a woman approach unto any beast, and lie down thereto, thou shalt kill the woman, and the beast: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
17 And if a man shall take his sister, his father's daughter, or his mother's daughter, and see her nakedness, and she see his nakedness; it is a wicked thing; and they shall be cut off in the sight of their people: he hath uncovered his sister's nakedness; he shall bear his iniquity.
18 And if a man shall lie with a woman having her sickness, and shall uncover her nakedness; he hath discovered her fountain, and she hath uncovered the fountain of her blood: and both of them shall be cut off from among their people.
19 And thou shalt not uncover the nakedness of thy mother's sister, nor of thy father's sister: for he uncovereth his near kin: they shall bear their iniquity.
20 And if a man shall lie with his uncle's wife, he hath uncovered his uncle's nakedness: they shall bear their sin; they shall die childless.
21 And if a man shall take his brother's wife, it is an unclean thing: he hath uncovered his brother's nakedness; they shall be childless.
22 Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out.
23 And ye shall not walk in the manners of the nation, which I cast out before you: for they committed all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.
24 But I have said unto you, Ye shall inherit their land, and I will give it unto you to possess it, a land that floweth with milk and honey: I am the Lord your God, which have separated you from other people.
25 Ye shall therefore put difference between clean beasts and unclean, and between unclean fowls and clean: and ye shall not make your souls abominable by beast, or by fowl, or by any manner of living thing that creepeth on the ground, which I have separated from you as unclean.
26 And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the Lord am holy, and have severed you from other people, that ye should be mine.
27 A man also or woman that hath a familiar spirit, or that is a wizard, shall surely be put to death: they shall stone them with stones: their blood shall be upon them."  (Leviticus 20:10-27 KJV) 

These are associations, actions, and choices that Yahweh abhors, and being under grace by no means changes Yahweh's heart and design about these abominable sins.  The are an horrendous stench in His nostrils and wickedness that He despises.  His mercy and grace make none of the above done willfully, righteously acceptable to Him!  He is God and He changes NOT!


  Now a New Testament passage that reaffirms the Leviticus text.  A passage written to Corinth, to Christians explaining that these associations and willful sins are still sins none the less! 



 
    "9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
15 Know ye not that your bodies are the members of Christ? shall I then take the members of Christ, and make them the members of an harlot? God forbid.
16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.
17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."  (1 Corinthians 6:9-20 KJV)

  Pretty clear cut and dry, so...it is not up for debate, or misinterpretation to justify a willful choice to dishonor Christ, grieve the Holy Spirit, or ignore Yahweh and His perfect design.

Instructions on Christian and God ordained relationships, not sinful abominable associations.
   
   "5 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:
(For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)
10 Proving what is acceptable unto the Lord.
11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.
14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.
15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
18 And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:
30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.
31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband." (Ephesians 5:1-33 KJV)

No where in the Word of God are ungodly associations are addressed on how to be done, accepted, or practiced.  No.  The exact opposite is noted.  Have NO part in them, come out from them, and expose them in the light of Truth.  God does not give advice to make such successful, because they are not to be so.  I write this full and well aware of the alienation from certain people, yet if I do not proclaim the Truth, I am willfully sinning myself.  Beloved, it is what it is.  Are we to ostracize such souls?  NO!  We lovingly show them the Truth, and never act in an manner contrary to the Gospel.  A study of the Bridegroom (Christ-MALE) and the bride (Church-FEMALE) relationship, will illustrate this precept fulfilled, which biblical marriage is the foreshadow of God's design for marriage.  In most humble, truthful, and non controversial means I post this blog, love in Christ your brother Jason Bryant.  Share with the Beloved!
