Day 4 The Valley Gate

Day 4 The Valley Gate

Nehemiah 3:13

God

"13 The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate."  (Nehemiah 3:13)

Here we are the fourth gate that was repaired, in prescribed and strategic order of God.  Every thing God does, or allows to occur is for His glory plan and purpose!  And for WE the REDEEMED it is always for our good and His glory.  (Romans 8:28)    Life is NOT FAIR!!!!!!  For the sun shines and the rain falls on the just and unjust.  For we the Christian, there is a purpose for the many valleys we've walked through, are walking through, or will walk through.  There will be valleys Beloved, we were promised that by Jesus Himself.

"20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
29 His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
30 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."  (John 16:20-33)

The Lord faced The Valley of the Shadow of Death, He was mocked and He knew that the entire weight of sins in human history, past, present, and future to come would be crushed upon His shoulders, He went through a valley gate Beloved.  In the passage above He prophesied what I face, what you face, and our trials to come.  We MUST NEEDS have our Valley Gate of our walk and life repaired and functional.  It is the valley's that keep us humble and reliant on God for every need.  That is why the Good Shepherd of the Sheep Gate inspired a young ruddy, red haired Jewish shepherd boy to pen these words, when He would later be King of Israel, and write this Psalm:
"3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths [old paths via the Old Gate] of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." (Psalms 23:3-4)  I have to in my spirit, in my heart, in my mind, believe Jesus was quoting this passage to himself during the cross, the forsaking, during the mock trial.  He knew He would arise, just like His redeemed will arise and that is why it is the Valley of the Shadow of Death... its in Christ's shadow we Christians stand, not trials, fear, cancer, divorce, and death.  We have to have to have the Valley Gate.  Please share with the Beloved my precious brothers and sisters in Christ.  Love In Christ Jason
